THE CARDINAL SOCCER CLUB IS PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE THE COMPLETION OF ITS MERGER WITH NK UNITED.
GOOD LUCK TO ALL CURRENT CARDINAL PLAYERS AS THEY MOVE INTO THE BIGGEST AND MOST EXCITING CLUB IN THE TRI-STATE AREA.
Cardinals and NK United Merge!
Dear Cardinal and NK United Families,
In December, our clubs entered into conversations regarding a possible merger. In the course of the past three months we have come to better understand the strengths of each organization and feel confirmed in our resolve to create a dynamic club that brings a broad array of services to our players. The vision of creating an organization that boasts a nationally recognized training staff, top notch facilities that allow for high level training as well as classroom and fitness sessions, counseling for athletic as well as academic pursuits, a training continuum that serves players on a wide range of skill and age levels, and opportunities for connections between amateur and professional levels of play has driven the members of the two boards to work through a variety of challenges. The members of the boards of both NK United and the Cardinal Soccer Club (a subsidiary of Girls’ Southeast Soccer Association) are proud to announce that the concept presented has won unanimous approval from both boards to unite as one club for the fall of 2008. The club will be known as King’s Soccer Academy.
In the coming weeks we will be providing detailed information regarding the workings of the new organization. We encourage you to check the website www.Kingssa.comfor details. Tryout schedules will be uploaded in the next two weeks as well as our cost structure and information regarding the various levels of training and competition. We look forward to building a club that will have no parallel in this area of the country by taking a unique and creative approach to developing the skills and abilities of our players.
We would like to thank the Parents for their patience in this process and look forward seeing all of you in the coming weeks.
Sincerely,
Members of the Cardinal and NK United Boards
