Merge update

Dear Parents and Cardinal Players,

As you remember we e-mailed you two weeks ago concerning a potential agreement with the NK United Soccer Club and the owners of the Town & Country sports complex. In the past two weeks we have looked into questions that have been posed related to the potential board structure, league status in CUSL, effect on the 501c3 status of both organizations and the overall business plan if such a merger were to occur. All parties involved have considered the needs of their respective organizations as they relate to these issues.

There is a meeting scheduled later this week with the board representatives from both clubs as well as the directors of training and the Presidents of the parent soccer organizations. The purpose of this meeting is to strategize the solutions to these questions and determine the overall feasibility of the proposal.

We plan to communicate the results of this meeting as well as future steps by early next week.
